Lectures & Demos

Throughout the Weekender, Lectures and Panels will take place in the breakout rooms adjacent to the VooDoo Vendor Hall with speakers coming in from around the country to share information and advice on topics running the gamut of all things tiki and terror.
Simultaneosly, inside the VooDoo Vendor Hall there will be Demonstartions constantly taking nplace on the stage for the enjoyment of attendees. Those demos will cover areas ranging from tiki sculpting techniques to movie make-ups and all points in-between. As more guest speakers are confirmed and space is allocated, details will be posted at the link below:

FaceOff Panel

The phenomena hit show FaceOff started a nationwide obesession with practical effects that is still going today - even in the heat of the CGI and AI trends in the television and film industry. Monster Moku is gathering a large sampling of the talented contestants from that show for an extended Q&A Panel where audience members wll be treated to seeing some of their work first-hand and have a chance to ask questions directly to the artists on technique, influences, experiences etc. Once the panel of artists is finalized, names will be released at the link below:

HHN Panels

Halloween Horror NIghts has long been one of the largest and most involved Haunted Attractions in the country. The scheduled panel will consist of builders of this annual event and the work they've put into bringing the production into reality. This group will consist of Scenic Directors, Creative Consultants and the Artists who build the houses and streets areas as well as fabricating the props that make it all come to life. Audiences will hear directly how they work with Universal's creative design teams to interpret their vision and see it through to fruition under tremendous deadline pressure and total secrecy.
